Live broadcast on November 30, Pelican forward Herbert Jones was interviewed by Marc.J.Spears and talked about his frugal life.
Although Jones of the second round show held nearly 2 million annual salary (1.78 million this season), he still drove a university car and often wore the clothes and shoes provided by the team.
“I try to save money. I don’t worry about people saying my appearance as long as my family is better than before.” Jones said.
This season Jones scored 10.5 points 3.7 rebounds 2.1 assists 1.3 steals 0.9 cap.
