Live broadcast, December 4-basketable Nets player Watanabe Xiong Tai recently accepted an interview with famous Michael Scotto and talked about many topics.
Michael Scotto: “You and eight villages are the only two Japanese NBA players. What does this mean to you?”
Watanabe Xiong: “I think it is very important to represent our country in NBA. Since I was a child, whenever I said I wanted to be an NBA player, people would say, ‘only one Japanese has entered the NBA, so this is almost impossible. You can’t do it. ‘I want to change the views of these people, I want to change their views of me and Japanese. I want more people to start to like watching NBA. I also hope that from now on, more children will start to dream of becoming an NBA player.”
