Kong Wenhao, who has just reached the age of 20, is a rising star in the Super Triple competition. Although he is not very old, in the lineup of Deda, Texas, he has become an important part of both ends of attack and defense. Kong Wenhao’s success depends not on God’s talent to enjoy food, but on his solid basic skills and mature ball style.
In 2002, Kong Wenhao was born in Tai’an, Shandong province. Under the guidance of Grandpa and father, Kong Wenhao stumbled onto his own road of basketball. At the beginning of his rise, he was found by the coach of shangjun that he entered tai’an no. 2 middle school in shandong province as a special basketball student and began to get in touch with professional basketball training.
Choosing basketball as the direction of future development means that every day we have to train rain or shine, and there is also the risk of injury at any time. The mother who loves the child does not support Kong Wenhao to play basketball at first, but Grandpa thought Kong Wenhao had talent in basketball, firmly supported him, and even had a quarrel with his daughter.
In high school, Kong Wenhao experienced the most serious injury in his basketball career-rupture of the anterior crossed ligament. When he heard the doctor saying that he might not be able to play basketball any more, sitting in the wheelchair, he fell out with tears. Fortunately, the later operation and rehabilitation were very successful, and Kong Wenhao returned to the arena of his mind.
In the rehabilitation stage, Kong Wenhao, who had experienced major injuries for the first time in his life, was introduced to the youth team of Shandong three-person basketball team by Liu Xin, director of Shandong Basketball Management Center, and became a tie with this emerging project.
On September 5, 2020, the elite competition of the national three-person basketball club started in Chengdu. Kuaite red flag (the predecessor of Deda, Texas), this team with an average age of less than 19, appeared on the stage. In that season, kuaite red flag played 11 races and won the seventh place in the finals. In the cross-level challenge with adult teams, it is surprising enough to achieve such results. After all, Guo Hanyu, Zhou Yanxu, wang Zengjie, the top 10 players in the super three scoring list. In that season, Kong Wenhao ranked 23rd in the scoring list and entered the field of view of the fans.
In the same year, Kong Wenhao participated in the U18 national three-person basketball championship on behalf of Shandong youth team. In the competition with his peers, Kong Wenhao showed his advantages. The attack method combining inside and outside made him help the team to make great progress all the way, finally won the championship.
In 2021, Kong Wenhao, Li Haonan, Wang Zhixing and other players formed the Deda team of Texas to compete in the transition season of more than three league matches. With the help of fellow teachers, Kong Wenhao grew rapidly, at that time, he was selected into the U21 three-person national basketball team to get the opportunity to further improve. This year, Deda, Texas, sent a younger lineup to the league. Kong Wenhao, who has the most experience in the competition, played an increasingly important role in the team. In 54 matches representing the team, he has contributed 4.6 points and 2.5 rebounds per game, and has achieved excellent performance of more than 10 points on several occasions.
For the future, Kong Wenhao hopes that he can become a “generalist” on the court. Under different circumstances, according to the needs of the team, he can help the team as much as possible.
